Sandy beach. Resort. On the Juodkrante beach there are lifeguards/lifesaving equipments, facilities for disabled people, sport facilities, attended first aid. Lifeguards/lifesaving equipments are available: from 15th May - 15th September.From the Juodkrante center to the beach you can to get by bike, car or walk.
The Juodkrante beach is located in the Curonian Spit. The Curonian Spit is a narrow peninsula 97 kilometres long. The Baltic Sea in the west and the Curonian Bay in the east wash its shores. Its landscape is composed of sand dunes, rare greenery, linden and pine trees growing in sandy soil. The settlements of the Curonian Spit - Nida, Preila, Pervalka, Juodkrante. From 1991, 52 kilometres of the Curonian Spit make the National Park. At the end of 2000, UNESCO as the part of heritance of the world honored the landscape of the Curonian Spit.
